There are a lot of strange living things in Earths history. This is a short compiled list of some of my favorites in the category of really potentially horrifying ones. Things that would make great stars of a horror/thriller film, and some that even approach cosmic levels of terror. I'm excluding large predators and giant versions of other species, cause the "fear" response to them depends heavily on the species, situation, and individual. So no Megalodon or Hawsts Eagle. Anachronism Project Rules: * Organisms must be separated either in evolutionary, distance, temporal, or all three terms at once. ie, Putting an Elephant in the Miocene Africa isn't ok, since early elephants are already there. * Organisms must be drastically different from those in their transported time period.
